Cathy Williams is the Founder and Executive Director of Women In Crisis of NY, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women experiencing homelessness and life disruption rebuild stability, independence, and purpose through transitional housing and supportive services.

With over 25 years of personal recovery experience, Cathy is deeply committed to empowering women through compassion, mentorship, and practical guidance. Her professional background includes life and recovery coaching, community advocacy, and supportive roles in substance abuse recovery services.

Cathy also has a background as a Medical Assistant and caregiver, bringing a holistic and compassionate perspective to her work with women facing health, emotional, and life challenges. Her leadership is rooted in lived experience, resilience, and a passion for helping others transform crisis into confidence and opportunity.
